DECHAL Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Hello All, I've got a dynamic block of a beam. On each end of the beam there is fixing. This fixing can be 1 of 4 items or it can be empty. Is there any way in AutoCAD that I can get a dialogbox that will let me insert the beam, set the length and assign the end fixings? Each part has a part number but when I've say the beam and required fixings I would have a sub assembly which has another part number. Any help would be great as I've no ides were to start. I did start looking at using VBA to place a block with the variables set but as usual I ran out of time. I THINK I showed that it could be done but I can't be sure. Quote
