Hello All,

I've got a dynamic block of a beam. On each end of the beam there is fixing. This fixing can be 1 of 4 items or it can be empty. Is there any way in AutoCAD that I can get a dialogbox that will let me insert the beam, set the length and assign the end fixings?

Each part has a part number but when I've say the beam and required fixings I would have a sub assembly which has another part number.

Any help would be great as I've no ides were to start.

Thanks,

DECHAL.

at the moment dynamic blocks are only driven graphically but that may change in future releases. I did start looking at using VBA to place a block with the variables set but as usual I ran out of time. I THINK I showed that it could be done but I can't be sure.
