Im trying to create a line drawing from a jpeg image as simply super imposing the image onto an existing autocad drawing is not sufficient..

basically i need to create the pattern of finger prints in autocad which i am finding extremmly difficult!!

I have tried to attach the image to show you but the file size is to large :x

can anyone help?? o:)

have you got a pdf to CAD converter?

if so Print jpeg, scan it back in as a pdf, an then convert the pdf to a dwg.

Can you not insert the raster image and trace over it?

If it is a vector PDF e-mail it to me and I'll open in Adobe Illustrator and export to a DWG for you.
