Inventor Zoom Scroll

Hi all

I've seen a few post around on different sites that complain about the reverse zoom scroll in Inventor compared with AutoCAD & MDT.

There is a fix that reverses Inventor to the same as AutoCAD.
It is a Reg fix so be careful:

Close Inventor

Start -> Run then type Regedit
This opens the Registry edit explorer.

Expand the following:
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Autodesk\Inven tor\Registry\VersionX\System\Preferences\Display

Note the VersionX = Version8, Version9 or Version10.
These are the version I know work.

Then scroll down to ‘Viewing Command Options’
Double click and change the value in the ‘Value Data’ filed from 1 to 3

Click OK and close the Registry

Voila the Zoom Scroll is now the same a AutoCAD & MDT

i wish i knew this then i first started inventor, im kinda use 2 backwards scroll now and wouldnt like 2 change it as that would mean changing it on every computer i use that has inventor. but still a great tip like i say if i knew this when i first started i would have done it for sure. :D
