Byron md
Are non uniform rational B - splines (nurbs) the same as sketch splines?
shift1313
Not as far as i know. The nurbs is a generalization of a bezier curve. On a nurbs line or surface you have weighted control points(not on the curve). I believe what you are drawing is a B-spline. In solidworks when drawing a spline there should be two options in the dialog box. best fit(control points) or the other which i cant remember the terms used. The best fit curve should be a nurbs line. someone please correct me if im way off base
Guest Sjano
if you zoom into the sketch object and it is a true curve yes, if it it segments of lines no there can be oncurve and weighted points
