Data Link Spreadsheet Problem

I am having one heck of a time with my data links. I get the Select a Data Link dialog box and establish the link. My table style is set to Standard which is what all my tables are using. It looks ok in the preview but when I insert it the format goes all out of wack. I've tried Remove all property overrides but that doesn't do much good. I've tried selecting and deselecting the Use Excel format but that doesn't help either.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can keep the spreadsheet format when linking it into my drawing?

Please let us know if you fathom it out. All I can say is have a dig through all the system variables your tolerance can handle.

I had the same issue.

Everything would look ok in the preview and the Excel file was formatted the way i wamted it. But when the table was inserted the text was way to small and the cells went crazy.

I have found that if service pack2 (2008) is not installed on the system you get errors. After updating the sp everything worked just the way that i liked.
