hogfan1978 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hi, Software: ACAD Civil 3D 2008 Question: Is there an easy way to draw a scale in ACAD? I'm wanting to do this in paperspace. My method is just to draw a series of boxes of known dimensions, hatch the boxes (some white and some black) to have a checkered pattern, and then insert appropriate text (numbers) above the scale. The problem is that because I'm in paperspace, when I try to draw a 6' long box (for example), it comes out way too long... I've tried and tried to search this in the forums, but when I type "scale" I get hundreds of scaling questions. Thanks, HF Quote
rkent Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 A search on google turned up free ones. "scale bar" +autocad Also, draw the scale bars in MS, using plines with a width for the boxes, then use CHSPACE to move it into PS. Quote
