New Drawing in ADT2005

Hi, I am trying to open a new drawing. Everytime i do it already has a certain number of layers which i cannot delete or purge. How can i start a new drawing with no dim styles, text styles, layers or anything?

go to file, new, and then click on the acad.dwt template file.
