Harv Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I am sure there is a thread on this question already and I searched but did not find an answer for this scenario, so if I missed the correct thread I apologize. I have a drawing from someone else that created a custom hatch for aggregate. When I try to hatch edit or look at the properties it says that the pattern in unrecognizable or something like that. Is there a way for me to save that hatch pattern so I can use it? I am on '09 CAD. Thanks. Quote
RichterGMC Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I would also like to know the answer to this, had the same problem last week. Fortunately for me, I was able to find the same hatch pattern in the "custom" pattern tab. Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 My guess is you can't edit it or look at its properties because the custom hatch pattern is not part of your acad.pat file. Call the originator of the drawing and say his custom hatch pattern is "so awesome" you just have to have it. Maybe he'll email it to you free of charge. Otherwise you would need a lisp routine such as HACEXT to capture the hatch pattern. Quote
