runningman2 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Currently using ACAD 2009 in a network environment. Users want to be able to start Acad with a black background as their default for ease of use. I know how to change the colour by going to Options > Display and then Background colour. The problem then occurs because we use mandatory network profiles and any settings that are used are not retained when users logoff. I have tried to use new Acad Profiles but with not much success. Does anybody know the best way of setting the default background color that is retained for all users? It currently loads a cream background. Thanks Quote
uddfl Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Maybe you can use something like this routine: http://rkmcswain.blogspot.com/2007/02/toggle-autocad-background.html and automatically load it at startup for all users. Quote
