Megs1988 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I am in desperate need of some help! I am using AUTOCAD 2009 and am having problems opening files and saving my work... Instead of a window popping up asking me to choose the file I want to open or a window popping up asking how I want to save something, a command pops up in the command box asking to manually type in the file I want to open or how I want to save something. It has only been doing this the past few days and I cant find anyone that knows how to fix it. If you have any ideas PLEASE PLEASE let me know As SOON As POSSIBLE!!!! Thanks!! Feel free to reply on here or email me directly... megs1988@hotmail.com Quote

Tankman Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 And here comes, "FILEDIA." Of course it worked! Nice, problem solved! Thanks to all! Quote
madriverstudio Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Thanks for this solution--this just happened to me after a fatal error, and I was able to use filedia, 1 and it fixed it! After trying to find help on Autocad help search and coming up dry, I was really glad to find this information. Quote
