Looking For A Setting [Archive]

OK, I just bumped up from autocad 2000 to 2002, full version. On 2000, for example, if you were resizing an object, you could see the old size and ALSO you could see the out line of what the new size was going to be. So you can free transform almost. Now, in 2002 all I get is a line, and cannot see what the new size will be till I end the command. Is there a setting for this? How do I change it back. Sorry if this sounds confusing, I really don't know exactly what it is called, that is half the problem.

theres three settings on-off & auto

mine is set to auto and allows "rubber banding"
