Organic Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I have 2 drawings I wish to combine to one. I can copy/paste modelsapce of one into the other. I've having more trouble bringing the layouts though. Is copy/paste the best way to move the layouts between windows and then just adjust my viewports views? Quote
Hedgehog Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 As with most things in AutoCAD there are lots of different ways of to skin a cad... erm... cat!... & I don't blame you at all for asking... personally I'd probably do it the way you have described using cut & paste... nice n'simple. Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 You can also save the source file as a template. Then in the destination file, right-click a layout tab and select "From template..." Grab the template you just created and then selec the layout(s) you want to add. I usually go with the the ol' copy/paste method myself though. Quote
