Spline Breaking

I am creating a contour map by using p-lines to trace over the countours that I need. I then spline the P-line to give it shape and the line breaks (no longer joined together).. The p-lines are closed before I spline them, anyone know why this is happening??

Does the line actually break apart into separate pieces, or is it just that a gap appears between apparent segments?

You're not using a hidden or dashed linetype are you?

Can you post a screenshot, before and after splining?

The line doesnt break apart into seperate pieces like it does when using the "break" command. Its more of a "gap" in between the segments.. I double checked the linetype and I am using a Continous line.

I went back and tried another approach by simply tracing the bottom boundary of a stockpile using a p-line and then used the Pedit---->Spline to smooth out the "circle" however it doesnt quite want to close..
