Can some one please help me figure out how my predecessor made these threads. I can't figure it out. I can get close but not quite there..... I know there are tutorials out there but they are quite different than these threads. I just need to replicate this type. Thanks for any help.

I would call that geometry a knurl rather than a thread. There is no helix, just a simple revolve. Why do you need to duplicate geometry of this type? Do you want it as a solid revolve or a surface revolve?

Your right it is not a very reallistic thread but it gets the job done. I guess I am looking for 3d wire frame, not solid? And I am mostly trying to figure out how he did it because I can't. I have replicated it kinda close but when I revolve it 45 degrees along the y axis it doesn't look right. I think that the fact that the a second explode command drops the outline has something to do with how he did it. PS, I would be interested in using a helix but I am using 2002 and I don't think that I have that option. Thanks for your help.

---You were right it was a simple revolve command, If you draw a profile of half a thread and revolve it you get what I was looking for and if you explode it twice you end up with an array of concentric circles just like the threads made by my predecessor. So thanks for your help.
