tasker Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Hi Folks, I have just had my PC rebuilt and reloaded ACAD2008. I dont know if this is anything to do with my problem but now I can only plot a single viewport. If the drawing has say 3No viewports I can only see one in the preview. If I delete all other viewport and just leave any 1No I can see it ok but more than one and I have this problem. Any ideas. Cheers. Quote
wannabe Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Could be a few things like LAYERS or possibl;y a variable. Post up the drawing and I'll have a faff, if u like. Quote
NBC Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Try setting system variable MAXACTVP to a value other than 1. Quote
tasker Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 Thanks for your response. I eventually spoke with someone brighter than me who solved it for me. I purged every xref and ran OVERKILL which I had never heard of before, and the problem was fixed. Architects have a habit of building line upon line and OVERKILL deletes them back to a single line. As for MAXACTVP I had already checked that. Hope this helps somebody else. Quote
EMS_0525 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 if you have MAP you can run MAPCLEAN, i dont know if it works without map. Quote
