Just a quick one.. can anyone explain why two multi-line text elements, with the same truetype fonts used (both arial) would appear different on screen as if one is set bold? This doesn't seem to affect printing though, so it's more like one of those annoying things that I suppose I can grin and bear..
The same go for dimensions.. any ideas?

Sometimes the width can affect the display of these font. Make sure they are all set to a width factor of 1. Hope this helps?

LWDisplay is set to off (can't stand lineweight preview anyway..)
How do I set the width factor?

Bring up PROPERTIES on each Mtext. Make sure they are using the same TEXT STYLE. You might find one of your text STYLES has a text width of .9 or something. Type STYLE and check.
If it is TEXT and not MTEXT you can check the WIDTH FACTOR under PROPERtIES as well.
Hope this helps
