adding attribute to block after inserted

I have a block for roomnames and it is already inserted into the dwg, i need to add an attribute to that block, but when i do bedit and add it it doesnt show up, i went back to where the block is origionally stored and added it there and that didnt make it show up. Any suggestions? Theres 30-50 rooms per floor and 11 floors individually replacing each block will take forever! any suggestions would be great.

nvm, i found it. ATTSYNC for anyone looking for the answer will make your added attributes show up.

I always use ATTSYNC but BATTMAN also has that ability
