For those interested in computer operations and if you have auto pan from the mouse; you can freeze her motion into your favorite position for detailed study; by doing a vertical pan.

you could also do a regen. and then keep zooming out.

regen = RE

regen all = REA

and sometimes i find that i've reached the drawing extents and i have to do a zoom v to zoom out further, then it bumps up your zoom extents again.
