td88 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I wish to draw some landscape plans and currently don't have landscape symbols available in my tool menus. Can someone recommend a source for trees plants, etc. Once I find them, I, also, don't know how to place them in an onscreen library or tool bar. Can I, also, get some direction with that process. Thank you. td88 Quote
ReMark Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 td88: I provided you with a link to a website where you can download 2D blocks of trees and shrubs in a similar thread you posted. Blocks are placed on screen using the Insert command, pulled off of a Tool Palette or selected from within Design Center. I suggest you consider using the Tool Palette method. Instructions for creating a Tool Palette are fairly common so you should not have any trouble finding them. Start by searching AutoCAD Help. Here at CT take a look at Michael's Corner. I am sure he has covered the topic. Another source of good information is the CADalyst magazine website. Quote
CADTutor Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Also take a look at the download section of this site: landscape trees Quote
td88 Posted March 23, 2009 Author Posted March 23, 2009 Wow, CADTutor, and no kitchen sinks or autos mixed with your trees page. What a concept. You're sure I don't have to download 92 mb of Volo View to shop? Thanks. td88 Quote
