jmerod Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 i created a polygonal mview (its a circle actually). it works fine. but when i put the mview on my vport layer then freeze the layer to hide the vport, a square viewport shows and is no longer the circle i created. should i just turn off the layer instead of freezing it? just not sure why the circle would turn into a square after freezing the layer. NBC Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 When you type PS at the command line, does the square 'disappear' ? Quote
papagyi Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 How did you make polygonal mview? I did first create polygonal(circle) then "mv" enter "o" enter and select to circle. Then i could do well vplayer editing. Quote
jmerod Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 i did just as you did, papagyi. not sure what you mean by vplayer, never heard of it. as far as my concern about the vport, ill just have to turn off the layer instead of freezing it. its just weird that this would happen. Quote
profcad Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 When you create a polygonal viewport, AutoCAD creates another object. In your case the circle. Do NOT freeze the layer the circle is on. Turn the layer off or set the layer property to no-plot. Quote
