empty file and still huge size help please

I got problem
My dwgs are extremely huge size, and even after I have erased everything and purged them, completely empty files are around 1,0 mb size. Are there any hiden attachments ?. And this problem apply to all my files I work with.
When I start completely new file its size is 0, but when I start from any existing files, then starting size is around 1,0 mb
How can I decrease their size.

I searched the forum but couldnt find the threads with the problem.
