JONTHEPOPE Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 How Do I Create A Macro For Scaleing A Block With Attribuite Down Say 1/2 ^^scale ^^select Objects This Is Where Im Confusied Because I Dont Know How Pick Base Point Or Pause For User Input. Is It Even Possible Using Macros??? Quote
uddfl Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Use backslash to pause within a macro, e.g.: ^C^C_scale;\;\; (did not test) Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 ^C^Cscale;\;\0.5; (untested) Works for single entity Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 You could always just select all the blocks you want to scale and use the properties panel to scale them all by a half by their basepoint. Quote

CmdrDuh Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 It is annoying though, so I wrote a program that switches caps on and off based on app you in Quote

CmdrDuh Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Yea, But Even Then, It Gets Annoying Sometimes Quote
Tankman Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 ^C^C_SCALE;_All;;*0,0;.5; Ok Mac. Do you think the above would work? At the command line "SCALE", select (pick) all, 0,0,0 (base) Scale factor ".5" I'm usually goin' from inches to mm's (scale 25.4). With the global economy, although I work in inches, easy enough to scale for mm's. Quote
Tankman Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 It is annoying though, so I wrote a program that switches caps on and off based on app you in. I often forget "CAP LOCK ON', but then again I'm in Excel or AutoCAD where I most always use CAPS. Commander Duh: When I lived in Mesa, AZ, early 70's, I found an Arizona license plate that was (forget the year) made from copper. Haven't seen one since. I gave it to a friend living in a carriage house back east for his collection of antique license plates. Quote
Lee Mac Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 This would work Tankman: ^C^C_.scale;all;;0,0,0;0.5; Quote
