This Is Where Im Confusied Because I Dont Know How Pick Base Point Or Pause For User Input. Is It Even Possible Using Macros???

Use backslash to pause within a macro, e.g.:

^C^C_scale;\;\;

(did not test)

You could always just select all the blocks you want to scale and use the properties panel to scale them all by a half by their basepoint.

Yeah, for most people "CAPS-LOCK = shouting" but most CAD's just leave the keyboard on CAPS-LOCK the whole time anyway, so you can't really blame 'em :P

It is annoying though, so I wrote a program that switches caps on and off based on app you in

Ok Mac. Do you think the above would work?

At the command line "SCALE", select (pick) all, 0,0,0 (base)

Scale factor ".5"

I'm usually goin' from inches to mm's (scale 25.4).

With the global economy, although I work in inches, easy enough to scale for mm's.

I often forget "CAP LOCK ON', but then again I'm in Excel or AutoCAD where I most always use CAPS.

Commander Duh:

When I lived in Mesa, AZ, early 70's, I found an Arizona license plate that was (forget the year) made from copper. Haven't seen one since.

I gave it to a friend living in a carriage house back east for his collection of antique license plates.
