Inventor 10 to 8

How can I import a Inventor 10 ipt file into Inventor 8.?

1. Through saving as *.iges or *.sat, but you shall have no in three of model any editable objects.

2. There is a variant of translation iFeature with use VBA. At first we must create the file with parameters iFeature. And then we have to unpack in other version. But I did not make this operation practically :oops: It is only theory.

I was always told inventor was not backwards compatable. feel free 2 prove me wrong :P
