I can't get my dimensions in paper space to follow the scale of the viewport.
I've set the following settings
Scale dimensions to layout (under the fit tab in Dimension styles manager)
DIMLFAC=1
DIMSCALE=0
Correct dimstyle is selected
What else could be wrong\selected?
Thanks
Nick.

have you done a dimension update ?
did you insert the dimensions in modelspace or paperspace ? they only insert at the correct scale if you do it through a viewport, otherwise you have to do an update through the viewport so the dims know what the true scale is

Tried dimension update many times.
I'm adding the dimensions in paperspace.
What exactly do you mean by "Dimension through a viewport".
I'm just selecting the dimension tool then picking out the various points, no view ports are active, as in i haven't double clicked in the viewport to activate it for editing, since this adds the dimension to the modelspace.
Perhaps i'm missing something here?
I've tried just drawing a square 100 x 100 in model space, then going to paper space creating a 0.5 scale view port and adding the dimension. On my bosses AutoCAD 2005 this dim is 100 still, on my AutoCAD Lt 200i its 50. Can't see any differences in the settings :?

Scale dimensions to layout scales the physical size of the dimensions NOT the dimenesion value !
the "normal" procedure is to dimension the model in modelspace ~ if you are applying dimensions in paperspace or layout tabs then you will need to apply the correct scale factor to your dimensions (DIMLFAC) ~ you will need to work that our from your drawing.
Be prepared though ~ if you are dimensioning in paperspace ~ if you move,stretch or edit the model then the dimensions will not update and you will need to re-adjust them individually ~ this is the reason most users dimension in modelspace

Your boss probably has DIMASSOC set to 2 -- this is not an option in 2000i.
