View Full Version : Issues mating two cylinders at 90 degrees

I'm modeling two hollow glass cylinders which should mate at 90 degrees. A smaller cylinder should mate flush to the inside of the larger cylinder. The hole in the first cylinder has a radius of .25", as does the smaller one. I've contoured the end of the smaller cylinder so that it should mate correctly. It's still not mating (In SW Premium '08 it offers 'Lock' as the only mate type, and Lock doesn't do anything). Is there something else I'm missing?

If none of that made any sense, I can post the part/assembly files.

Sounds like you need to mate temporary axis and mate flush workplanes. Can you attach what you have so far?
