KevinJD Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 ok my project is saying i have to design this so it would fit on a 24" x 36" sheet if plotted to scale. the ddunits are set to decimals (0.00 of a foot) the limits are set to 0,0 10000000, 10000000 so what should i do? make a rectangle to represent the paper sheet size? and if so, what should i use for the dimensions of the rectacle (since entering 24" 36" wont work). Peter K Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 1) look into the command : _pagesetup Check that on the bottom of the dialog box the option "Display when creating a new layout" is checked 2) use command layout to set up a new paperspace layout With the above you should be able to set up the desired layout Don't forget when drawing the borderlines in paperspace that it probably has to be smaller then the max. size of your actual plotted sheet. 4) create a viewport inside your borderlines. By using a viewport you'll be able to draw in scale 1:1 in modelspace and still have a easy way to scale it down in paperspace to fit the desired plot size 5) Unless I'm mistaken : limits have nothing to do with sheet set-up Quote
