Slow response when I press <DELETE> on keyboard

After importiong settings from 2004 to 2005 I had immediate response, after installing 2005 on a new computer I have to hold down <DELETE> button for second or two before CAD erazes object. How do I change that?

Not a solution but why not use E (erase) instead? Much quicker than DELETE.

Because I have to press <ENTER> after I type <E>, with <DELETE> all I have to do is press it once.

hmmm... spacebar is a better substitute over the ENTER key. I guess its more of a preference issue. But still, I vote for E over DELETE (yey for E!) :lol: :P

Anyways, I still don't have an answer to your question but have you tried saving the file on 2005 format? not sure tho. Try cleaning the drawing with PURGE and AUDIT it after.

-it is not a performance problem, because it used to work yust fine on same computer
-I allready used blank drawing
-spacebar is better substitute but it is still 2 keys vs 1 key :glare:

Sorry, I'm out of ideas. I'm into 2004 and haven't touched 2005. Maybe others who have 2005 can help out.
