Orientation

I got a drawing that is imported from a .igs file which ends up with a screwed up orientation.

I'm really new to SolidWorks (2009) so I'm pretty clueless about terminology and possibilities but nevertheless I suspect that there must be a way to correct the planes and therefor the orientation of the drawing.

For the moment the front of the drawing is on the right plane, the right is on the top plane and the top view of the drawing is on the front (and upside down).

Normally I would just rename the planes but seeing as that the drawing is a building and I'll have to use it to determine the piping it would be so much easier if the orientatie of the drawing coincided with the actual origin and planes. Or atleast be able to see the top view of building without having to flip it over each and everytime.

did you bring this file into an assembly or part? if its in an assembly, right click on the part and make sure its floating(you will either see float or fix in the menu somewhere, If you see fix, its floating, if you see float, its fixed). from there you can create a mate with the base of your building and the top plane.
