LebronJames23 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Hi, the platform i am currently using is AutoCAD 2009. Recently i had accquired a soft-copy drawing from an third-party company. After much fiddling, i have found out that i could not draw a line using either the 'line' command or the push-button equivalent. Through meticulous checking, i have found out that even though all layesr are unlocked, de-thawed etc. I am still unable to measure the dimensions of the objects embedded on the drawing and draw some basic objects. Could anyone here kindly enlighten me on this matter, greatly appreciate the help thank you. Quote
ReMark Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 You cannot draw anything and you cannot measure anything? Can you use any of the modify commands such as move, copy, rotate, etc? Maybe the drawing was locked in some other manner to prevent anyone from editting it. Have you spoken to anyone at the company that provided the drawing? Quote
Teeds Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 That sounds like a raster drawing rather than a vector drawing. Tell us more Quote
