grain Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Has anyone done any scientific tests to quantify how accurate or un accurate Sketchup is. For example a 1000mm will vary by 10mm I understand it is described as a 'Sketch' application I'm planning on embarking on producing a3D house model from some 2D printed plans, and elevations. gcp310 Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 the items i work with are drawn 100% correct and i can say that the program is accurate. its as accurate as you make it to be. no complaints here, i just wished i had go into it sooner. the tutorial videos on youtube, watch them, they make alot of sense as it works different to any CAD program.
