excell to OLE

An engineer at my firm got fired last week and now I get to go through all his jobs and fix all the cad errors (fun i know) He inserted excel sheets as OLE's but we need to fix the scale and other things of the excell sheet but cannot find where he saved it to, running list on it doesnt work is there a way to find where the excell sheet is at or should I start remaking them

A shot in the dark here but do you think the information for the path to the Excel file would be stored within the drawing file as a path?

double click on OLE and it will open it in Excel, than save it in another location, name etc.
