Ritch7 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Hi people, I'm trying to to save a drawing with a scanned in image, be it a PDF/Tiff/Jpeg whatever, the problem is it appears on my pc but when saved and taken to someone elses it dosen't appear, and just leaves you with the file path name? what's gone wrong? Thanks to anyone who can help your'e a life saver, this must be a fairly basic one im sure. Quote
dbroada Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 they need access to the image file too. You can either store the image in a shared folder and attach the image with an "absolute path" or put it in the same folder as the drawing file and attach the image with "no path". Quote
rkmcswain Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 If the image is accessible from "someone elses" machine, then open the drawing and go into the references palette and enter the saved path to the image. (This is another option - the above answer is correct also) Quote
