sdoerksen
I'm using Autocad 2008 and I'm having a strange problem with my defpoints layer: I can't select anything on the layer. I can draw on it, I can turn it on and off, freeze it, lock it, unlock it etc. But once I've drawn a line it's there for good because I can't select it. I'm pretty sure that the drawing is corrupt, but I'm not sure what to do about it... Normally I would copy and paste to a new file, but I won't be able to take anything on the defpoints layer if I do that. Any suggestions? NBC
Try AUDITing the drawing (and correcting any errors) and also PURGEing the file a few times. See if that helps ?
Dipali
check if the '0' layer is turned off or freeze. it had been the case in past with lots of people & has been discussed in various threads here. if you search you amy find the thread explaing the relationship of '0' & 'defpoint' layer
