Please help!!!! I,m trying to setup house plans for plotting but when I go into layout I get a "grid too dense to display" message and it won't let me setup my views. I don't understand this because I have no grid on in the drawing.

if im right, i think it refers to snap grids,
press F7 to activate and de-activate it.

Either that or go to Drafting Settings and set the grid spacing to a larger size. If you don't want a grid, do as billsta says and just turn it off.

Thanks for the replies but turning the grid off was the first thing I tried. It was another problem which I have now fixed.

Perhaps you could let us all know what it was? Maybe there's someone else out there with the same problem. This forum should be run along the lines of "Give and Take".
By that I mean that you give and you take rather than we give and you take!

Major Clean-up! I'd say time to format drive and start over, IMHO.
Good luck!
