Wblock operation rejected due to a proxy object that does nota allow copying

Hi, is anybody can help on how to fix this problem.

Everytime i WBLOCK the drawing it says the message in the dialogue box:
Wblock operation rejected due to a proxy object that does nota allow copying

also, whenever i BIND the sheeting drawing that contain that particular drawing xref, it can't be bound.....the error says:
Error: At least one of the specified xrefs failed to bind due to a problem with a proxy object.

can anybody help with this? :( thanks in advance.

My guess is that the drawing was done in a vertical of AutoCAD, with an application to AutoCAD or a later version of AutoCAD.

If you go to QSELECT - do you have Proxy Objects in the list there? see if you can select them and delete them, perhaps thaw and On all layers first.

Purge and Audit is always a good idea.

Another idea, that might take a while though - is to use QSELECT to select objects one object-type at a time and move them to a new drawing, then discard the old one.
