gomitell Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 My drawing includes text and Mtext non annotative. Style standard using font TrueType Arial. This text is recognized as text in PDF when I'm printing from Model space. The same text can't be recognized as text in PDF when printed from Layout space. I'm using Adobe PDF printed supported with Adobe Reader Proffesional. How to make the 'Layout space' text recognizable in PDF as text (not as image)? Greetings Quote
GE13579 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Is the text brought in to PS via a viewport, or are you adding the text directly to PS? I would guess (I'm really not certain ) that the former would result in what you describe? Quote
gomitell Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Is the text brought in to PS via a viewport, Yes, description text is in modelspace and then inside a viewport at Layout space. I've noticed that some text written only on Layout space (not inside the viewport) is exportable to the text in PDF. Quote
GE13579 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 I guess then that the only way around it is to copy and paste the text from MS to PS in order to achieve what you want. Some scaling will probably be in order... perhaps you could block all the text, then insert it into PS with a scale factor and explode it? Quote
chulse Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 CHSPACE should let you move the text from Model to Paper space... Quote
NBC Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 CHSPACE should let you move the text from Model to Paper space... This is one of my favourite commands of recent times in AutoCAD Quote
