Cannot paste copied objects

HI guys...i'm a newbie on this site hoping you could help me out with my problem with Autocad..

 

my problem is i cannot paste the copied objects at all...the command line says _pasteclip that's it no objects none at all...i have tried this for so many times still getting same result no copied objects to be found..ive tried opening a new file thinking there's something wrong with the current opened file but still i can't do it...even if i try to copy the objects and paste it in the same file nah! none at all...this is the first time i encoutered such trouble...thanks very much

This thread is better suited to the AutoCAD General or Beginner Sections - rather than Chat,

 

You will get a much better response in either of those forums - politely ask a moderator to move it for you :)

sounds strange, u could check ur windows clipboard to make sure its being copied n not a windows issue.

in XP clipboard is located at c:\WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe

just an idea.

thanks very much guys for this prompt response...actually what i did was i turned off my PC then restart it again...when i opened the Autocad again it went okay i really don't know what's wrong with the program...i am actually doing some heavy 3D...thanks and God bless...
