GAAMS Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Does anyone know if there is a group command in Autocad 08 in the drop down toolbars? Thanks for any feedback! Quote
ReMark Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I always thought that GROUP was command line entry only. I could be wrong. Easy way to find out though is to look up the command in the Help file. Quote
ReMark Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 If you would like the command on a toolbar then create a custom button and add it to the toolbar you feel it is most appropriate on. GROUP will bring up the Object Grouping dialog box. -GROUP will display prompts on the command line. The choice of which one to use is entirely up to you. Quote
GAAMS Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 I switched from 06 to 08. Autocad 2006 had a group command in the toolbars. It was really convenient. From talking to others using 08, I don't think there is one. Thanks for your suggestions... I'll give them all a try! Quote
ReMark Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Which toolbar was the Group command on in 2006? Just curious. Quote
GAAMS Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 I tried -group on the command line... I really like it better than the dialog box. Thank you so much! Quote
