It used to be that it would default to a 3 point plane system to define a cutting plane. Now in 2009, Autodesk in their infinite wisdom has once again modified an existing command. It now defaults to a 2 point system. How these people expect a line to define a cutting plane is beyond me.

Bottom line, how do I undo what they changed. I'm sick of trying to slice a part and somehow ending up in the middle of the break command.

Anyone else growing frustrated with this?

I'm using 2009 and have noticed the change as well. However, typing in the number "3" revives the old 3-point cutting plane option. Just used it this morning. It may be gone from sight but entirely replaced.

Why not create a custom tool button/macro for it?

Yeah, that's the way we're forced to work that command now. It seems easy enough, but when you're working an assembly driven by parts that require that command to be ran a few hundred times, that extra click gets really annoying.

Bottom line is, I've ran the same command in the same manner since 1997. They go changing the very way the command works and it pisses me off.
