nyaromulo Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I opened an existing file for the first time I reinstall Civil 3D, (been having bad time with the software) before the file opens dialog box appears says:"Specify Font For Style Romans" If I open the drawing without finding for another font, I am unable to read any text under "style Romans"(they look like those Asian characters) however, there is a browsing box within the mentioned above dialog box. Sooooo, where should I browse for "shape compiled.shx"? (under support files or other folders?) to work as Style Romans? Thank you Jackie Quote
rustysilo Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 This question would be better suited for the regular AutoCAD forum as it is not Civil 3d related. If I were you I would open the text style and just change the font first. If you received the file from someone outside your company you could ask them for the font or shape file. Quote
