Layers are turned on when I move an object

Hello,

 

When I move an few objects together, for some reason a number of the other layers that are turned off decided to turn themselfs on.

 

Can anyone please advise?

Never ran into that situation before. Try freezing them instead of turning them off and repeat the move command. Now what happens?

Also begs the question:

 

What objects are you trying to move? Solids? Xrefs? polylines?
