were can i find information about the whip plugin i beleive it is a free download i wish to display 3d models on a web site would visitors to the site have to download the plugin ?

It seems that the Whip viewer is no longer available and has been replaced by the "Express Viewer". You can download a copy here http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=2787358&siteID=123112

Basically, if you want to view DWF files without AutoCAD, you must have the viewer. The viewer can be used as a standalone or as a control used within Internet Explorer. Since it's an Active X control, it can also be used to display DWF files from within other MS Office apps like PowerPoint.

You can 'pan' around a huge file eg large floorplan, within a web page. It's pretty cool.
