mmarzluf Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Hello all..... Maybe some here can help. I'm wondering if there is a way to use the repeat command and EXLUDE certain functions. What I mean is, when I'm using certain commands like Distance, Press-Pull, adding Materials, etc, I often free orbit and zoom to get where I need to be in the model. What I would like - is to be able to use the repeat command to go right back to my previous function WITHOUT it swithing back to orbit. Example of my commands..... press-pull. press-pull. press-pull. Free Orbit. (at this point, if I use the repeat command (a mouse button for me), Autocad will switch back to Free Orbit. What I want is for it to go right back to press-pull.) Press-pull. Make sence ?? I also use Sketchup and this is how that software performs. It's very handy. Thanks for any assistance you may have. Quote
alfonsosimelio Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I realize this is a pretty old subject, but I just found a partial solution and I would like to share it. I don't think there is a way to exclude a command from the "repeat last command" function, although it would be very handy. However, if you use the command MULTIPLE, and then enter a command that you would like to use for a number of times, it will repeat the command after you have finished it, and, if you orbit, it will go back to the command automatically, until you press ESC.
