command to freeze layer by name, not by object

what command gives the option to input layer name to freeze not select object? i know i can do it through layer properties but i need to use it in a lsp.

ended up using -layer freeze and entering in the layer name

Also -la you can enter wildcards eg -la F walls* wil freeze all layers starting with walls also use * freezes all except current layer bit like layer iso.
