hi.. everyone

Help I have some question and i need ur farther explanation pls,

About units in my autocad...

Why my autocad always use the inches insertion scale...even i change the insertion scale to meters, from the very begining of my drawing...

example I draw 2 x 2 box i use the meter insertion scale, and when i look at in the paper space, and scale it in 1:100 why is it my drawing looks very small, what i want is my 2m drawing, will be scale in paper space 1:100 actual.. i think that was happen because the insertion scale is still in inches..but that was I have already changed.

What did the correct settings to make it right

More idea pls!!!:)

Are you using a metric template?

Try looking at INSUNITS, INSUNITSDEFSOURCE, and INSUNITDEFTARGET in the help file.

Ideally they should all be the same within every drawing; usually they are not.

In your instance, you would need to set them all to a value of 6

Thanks...! for the help, i got the exact use of units now, but the problem i dont know how to use metric template, because when i scale my drawing in 1:100 in meter, the template or pspace will show the scale in 1:100 of inches unit, for example i use CM units, and, I draw a line w/ a mesure of 1 and i scale in 1:100 in pspace, the output i measure in paper was 1 inch in actual , not 1 cm...

thanks!!!!
