Cad64 Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 You can Import the .dwg directly into Max. Go to the "File" menu and select Import. Then select "Autocad Drawing" from the "Files of Type" list. You can also use the File Link Manager. This will allow you to basically xref your dwg file into Max so that any changes to the CAD file can be updated into the Max scene.
