Help with polyline

Need help on the following:

I have a curve polyline which I wish to lock in two places and then pull it a little bit in its center in order to augment its curvature.

Is this possible?

Polylines can contain arc segments but they cannot be edited in the way you describe. I suggest you try working with a spline. If you create a spline using 3 points, you can position the end points as required and then use the middle one to modify the curve (grip edit).
