LBUG42 Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 using viz 2007 this render comes out to dark and the maps don't look like they should I used mental ray settings, can someone give me some insight on how to fix this? nocturne00 Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 If your using mental ray, i think this problem is under the daylight modifier>mr sky>on, if it still is a bit dark increase its multiplier settings. ill try to update with a screenshot. spittle Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 I use max though assume you've got most of the functions. Perhaps one or two bounces to your light in the GI render settings will improve the scene. Also maybe you could blur your shadows.
