Hi,

After I installed Autocad 2010 I've had loads of trouble. I completly reinstalled the OS and all software on the machine, but stil getting plenty of error's. It might be worth to mention that the computer is brand new.

The error's im getting is all "Unhandled Exeption", and some of them is: "Fatal Error: Unhandled Exception", which cause Autocad to crash completly.

Anyone know what issue is and how to resolve it?

What numbers appear when you get these errors; and what were you doing/trying to do, immediately prior to these erros ?

It would help if you posted the full error messages as the combination of numbers/letters are important.

What OS are you running?

What are the specs of the computer?

Uploaded a screenshot of one of the errors. The numbers are not always the same, and the action resulting in the errors are not the same.

Computer is a dell Optiplex 760
Q9650
4 GB Mem
Geforce 9300 GE Graphics

OS is Windows XP professional SP3

Does the problem occur with any drawing you load or just particular ones?

Do you suspect the drawing(s) might be corrupt? Could try using Recover command.

I see you listed 4GB RAM installed yet you're running WinXP. Did you edit the boot.ini file to take advantage of the extra RAM?

veinsilk:

The topic of editting the boot.ini is not new. Both AutoDesk and Microsoft have written 'white papers' detailing the necessary steps to follow.
