g-druck
Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to take a 3D Model in Solidworks and exported it to AutoCAD? Thanks
spittle
STL is one option. In solidworks go File>Open, then have a look at all the available formats
ReMark
I do not believe one can import a STL file into AutoCAD although I know there is an STLOUT command. Can someone verify? I think the available file formats for importing into AutoCAD are wmf, 3ds, dgn and sat.
shift1313
ACISIN (.sat file). you can save a SW part as a .sat file. theoretically this works but i have never been able to get it to. I have tried saving as several different versions with no luck. there have been a few times where i have exported models from SW to inventor then to Acad but i cant remember the path I took. it wasnt worth it:)
